Introducing Jollies
Cassette launches a line of prefabricated homes for consumers
Cassette's new product line and delivery method provides an easy path to property-development, even for first-timers.
Cassette has just launched Jollies, a lineup of five prefabricated houses, ranging from a micro-studio (296 square feet) to a spacious, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home (888 square feet), which the company manufactures, delivers, and installs upon a customer's property within six months. The homes, which include solar panels in the base models, are priced complete with installation from $238 - $382K on most California sites ($175 - 289K for units with delivery only, including craning). Installation outside of California is available, and consumers can call te company for pricing on specific locations.
In August, the first orders will leave the production line for installation in California, where the HCD plans are pre-approved, and Cassette will be rolling out similar pre-approvals in any state that provides a similar program for factory-built housing.
Fixed and transparent pricing.
"By choosing to purchase design & construction as a product with a fixed price, the customer is voting for the same price and schedule certainty we have all come to expect when purchasing other consumer goods, such as our cars, appliances and mobile phones", explains Dafna Kaplan, Cassette's CEO.
Tailor Your Home with Customization Options
While the base home structure & finishes enable the company to offer a standard pricing model - customers are encouraged to make the homes their own, either by using Cassette's accessory options, third party products, or by dreaming up their own version of a Jolly in situ.
Cassette's website publishes turnkey pricing at the highest level, which means that solar panels are included, as well as on-site installation labor costs for the highest of its serviceable markets in California. Lower pricing may be available to purchasers in other states, based on local labor rates. Contact customer service for more details.
